COLUMBUS, Ohio— The Bobb Automotive group will combine the inventory and services of Bobb Automotive’s downtown location and Bobb West/Bobb Suzuki, effective today. The combined stores will be located at the 4639 W. Broad St. facility.

The Bobb Chevrolet franchise was sold in April, but the location has continued operations as a used vehicle sales and service center. The decision was made today to transfer that inventory and staff to the Bobb West/Bobb Suzuki location on Broad Street.

"The two stores are so close to each other that we no longer feel the need to keep them as separate entities," said Jeff May, owner of Bobb Automotive. "By combining the inventory and services of both into our recently renovated Broad Street facility, we will be able to provide our customers with a complete service department and a wider range of vehicle options, making car shopping and servicing simpler."

Bobb Chevrolet was founded by George Bobb in 1924, making it one of the oldest dealerships in Central Ohio. The original Livingston Avenue location has been part of the community for over 80 years and currently occupies 7.5 acres on the corners of Livingston and Parsons Avenues.

"I’m not sure what we’ll do with the land at the Bobb Chevrolet location, but we want to make sure it will be positive for the community that we’ve been a part of for so long," said May.
